The LT-2D3D Table Mount allows you to place the laser on a countertop or island and template in the same manor as the standard tripod. Being smaller means it can be used in tight fitting kitchens or bathrooms where the tripod might not fit. The 3 knobs on the ends of the arms allow you to level the mount (even though it is not necessary) and have rubber feet to prevent any movement making it just as stable as a full tripod but with 1/10 the weight and space requirements. The knob in the center clamps down on the LT-2D3D making sure it stays in one place while templating.
